My friend and travel expert Tim Leffel is an award winning travel destinations expert and living abroad author who has dispatched articles from five continents over a period of more than 25 years.

You've seen the headlines like "Boss Orders Employees Back To The Office" (bah humbug!).

Bob Iger (the CEO of Disney) decided he's "cracking down on remote work" and did just that the other day according to this article.

If you never want to go into an office again and you need to work like most people then there are two things you can do.

1. Prioritize your lifestyle and only take a job which is fully remote. Be psycho about saying "No" to everything else.
2. Start your own thing and run it your own way....remotely of course!

Either way, it's good to be aware of your values and what you are willing, and not willing, to accept in exchange for payment.
